Ive been following Marisa and her Instagram account, Little Iowa Bungalow, since before I even moved back to the Quad Cities. Her house full of a pants is literal plant and home goals. I’m just amazed with her green thumb and honestly wish I had it! I try, I try. She actually gifted me a plant after our session and I can confidently say I have been able to keep it alive!

About the couple

Cody and Marisa met in their 6th grade science class but didn’t start dating until they were 19! They love taking their pug on hikes and enjoy concerts, drinking a good IPA or coffee and relaxing together. They love the office and new girl and watch them over and over again!

Cody and Marisa always wanted to live in an old house. Marisa says, “The charm and the creaky floors really appealed to us!”. Since buying their home, they have done little projects here and there like painting, changing flooring and adding A TON of plants! This is what led them to starting an instagram account all things of their home and plants!

A few things I noticed right away were their detail to design and of course ALL of the plants! I’m obsessed with their kitchen specifically, the fact that they love craft beer & coffee. One of my favorite things that I saw was their Blue Moon sign in their kitchen!
