Oahu Family Photographer at Kaena Point, Waialua – The capes Family

Rebecca contacted me back in June wanting to schedule a Family Session while they were on island visiting!  They were traveling from Australia to Oahu for her dads 60th Birthday!  I was so exciting to work with Rebecca and her family!  We decided to have their session at Kaena Point on the Wailua side since it has ocean, mountains, and a ton of grassy area.  Rebecca and I talked back and fourth about outfit ideas and she also mentioned wanting to order Hakus! I loved this idea.  Hakus add so much color to photos and I truly believe they alone represent Hawaii!

I met the Capes Family for our sunset session where we had a ton of wind but were gifted with a beautiful rainbow over the ocean! You can always expect some wind by the ocean but we really had to make sure we worked with the wind for this session as it was a lot worse than normal.  Meeting and photographing this family was amazing! I was able to watch the girls cuddle and play with their parents.  We had so many giggles and laughs!   There may have been a little IPad bribery, but i’m totally ok with that! Let’s be honest for a second, I swear I have to bribe my daughter with chocolate or pizza during our family sessions or even when I’m just taking photos of her alone.  I actually always encourage parents to bring snacks or anything that their children may like to help to get them to corporate!
