Where do I even begin? Ever since we made our big move to this amazing island of Oahu, I started taking my daughter to the park each and every morning, religiously.  When my husband deployed, I would take her two, sometimes three times a day! This child has so much energy, she never sits still.  If it were up to her, we would live at the park, literally.

The park has grown to be one of our favorite pastimes. The amount of joy that it brings to my daughter is undeniable.  Even the mention of the word “P-A-R-K” has her running for the door, with the biggest smile on her face, yelling, “SHOE”.  We always walk her stroller filled with snacks, water, and of course, her favorite ball over to the park about a block away from our home.  When I say, “we walk”, I mean just that.  She insists on bringing her stroller every single time.  Rather than sitting inside and letting me push her, she wants to walk and help me push it.  The older she gets, the more often she is wanting to physically walk places rather than me push her.

We usually spend around an hour playing each trip.  If it were her choice, we would stay all day.  She loves running around kicking and throwing her ball, climbing, jumping, going down the slide, spinning, signing, and playing peek-a-boo.  She always has to feed Mr. Dino a handful of leaves and several twigs before she decides she wants to sit on him.   Having the opportunity to be able to witness the joy she feels every single morning is the most amazing experience for me and I hope these photos i’ve captured lets you in on a little bit of this happiness as well!
