What a crazy couple of months it has been for my family! As many of you know we relocated from Hawaii back to the Quad Cities in October 2018. It’s been quite the adjustment including but not limited to: the weather, the time zone, finding a home to buy, starting new jobs, and moving my entire business. I was so happy to have had a couple wonderful family sessions already set up before our plane wheels even hit the ground in Moline!
I met Teresa and the kids out at Scott Co Park for an adorable mommy & me session. I was completely stocked to have the opportunity to capture them together! I’m literally obsessed with their outfit color palette and even more obsessed with how much they loved on each other! See below for my favorite highlights!
Teresa and the kids hang out at coffee shops every weekend! Her and Bali go every morning when the twins are in school which is their special “thing”. It’s really the only time they have to be able to pause and enjoy each other without distractions. Their lives are always go, go, go so Teresa and Bali really enjoy this little slow down.
The second the boys get out of school they are usually doing homework and having dinner and then out the door to soccer practice by 5. Teresa describes them as “7 going on 17 and total boys!”, which I can totally relate to with a crazy toddler running around my own house. Bali is super determined and strong willed. She lights up any room she walks in to and people are just drawn to her. From the second she wakes up to when she’s ready for bed the boys are by her side. I think it’s safe to say she has them wrapped around her little finger! The boys help clean the house and take out the trash, feed the dogs, and now even putting laundry in.
Teresa work at Haus or Heir as a lash and brow artist. She’s extremely passionate about what she does.
“People often forget just how special and amazing they truly are, and I am that person that gets to make them feel beautiful all while in their own skin.”
